| ♚ AGE: 25. ♚ VISUAL: Damen is very tall and covered in muscle. He's regularly described as a 'giant' in canon. His hair and eyes are dark and his skin is olive-toned, and tanned. For reference, his PB is Jason Momoa in Conan, the Barbarian. ♚ FASHION: Think Ancient Greek Chic. Damen typically wears short tunics called chitons, with knee-high sandals, and a short red cape. His armour, when he wears it, is an armoured skirt and breastplate, which leaves his thighs and arms uncovered. His clothes are fastened by a pin worn at his shoulder - it's gold, and shaped like a lion. He has a gold cuff on his left wrist which never comes off. He dislikes other fashions, and is generally uncomfortable when forced to wear them. He also has no shame when it comes to nudity, and won't care if you catch him unclothed. I'm so sorry for him. ♚ DEMEANOUR: Damen wears his heart on his sleeve. It's usually easy to tell what he's feeling because he can't really hide it. His attitude tends towards friendliness, but if he dislikes or distrusts you, he'll struggle to hide it. He tends to be very blunt and honest, and as a rule will say exactly what he means. He's also proud and regal in stature; he'll act as though he commands a room, even when faced with someone else who does. ♚ AURAL: Damen speaks Akielon, which is basically similar to Ancient Greek. He's also fluent in Veretian, which is similar to French, and Patran. He speaks many of the other languages of his world with varying degrees of proficiency. ♚ OLFACTORY: Damen typically avoids perfumes and scents. He'll smell of sweat, leather and metal, thanks to his armour. ♚ TOUCHING: Damen is the kind of guy who'll slap his friends on the back, clasp their shoulder, embrace them - any and everything. He won't mind you touching him, though if it's violent or restraining and he doesn't trust you, expect him to throw you off. He's well used to dealing with people who aren't tactile, though, and if that's how you are he'll respect it. ♚ VIOLENCE: Feel free! Be aware that Damen is a natural fighter with years of extensive military training, and he will fight back. Please ask before doing serious damage or getting into a major fight - he's very strong, and we'd need to plot out what would happen! ♚ FRIENDSHIP: Damen is naturally friendly and will try to foster positive relationships - unless he thinks you're an enemy, in which case he'll have no time for you at all. He tends to view the world in absolutes, and if he doesn't like you, you'll probably know about it. ♚ ROMANCE: Damen is typically attracted to people with blonde hair and fair skin. If you look like this, he'll probably notice you. He is, however, very dedicated to his partner Laurent of Vere, so he's unlikely to flirt with anyone else, and won't respond to other advances. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: Your character is free to read Damen's mind if they like! He is very emotional and not particularly secretive, so what they find there will not be that different from what they see on his face. If you let me know when they're doing this, I will include extra info/surface thoughts that they can pick up on. ♚ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Damen is very resilient, and can generally keep himself from fainting except in extreme circumstances. He can take a great deal of damage, and isn't afraid of pain. He has several scars: two on his abdomen and another between his chest and shoulder, all from impaling by blades. His back is a patchwork of scarring from being flayed with a whip. The scars are well-healed, but ugly. ♚ TRIGGERS: Enslavement, captivity, and enforced submission will be uncomfortable for him. So will torture, especially if it involves whips. He's generally able to force himself to face it, though; he won't like it, but he'll not shy from it either. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Damen's reaction may not be great, depending on what it is, but I have no problem with it. ♚ TRIGGERS: Please warn me first if you're going to talk about either excessive gore/body horror/torture, or animal cruelty.
